Live Nation Global Touring asked us to create something to give fans an insight into the upcoming tour and to spread the word on how strong the show was this time around. LG agreed to let our cameras backstage – something never allowed before on a Gaga tour – and we created a series of exclusive vignettes taking the audience into everything that makes up a major pop tour.

It’s (relatively!) easy to dream up creative work, but there are always issues along the way in a one-day, high-pressure shoot like this one, and it’s working within limitations that really proves the strength of a team. Here we had a local audio freelancer who mic’d and lit quite a few sequences wrong; overeager security moved our cameras while shooting the actual stage show; and we only had two cleared songs and one piece of artwork from which to create five episodes. These are the realities of entertainment!
