Elizabeth Brooks’s global, digital native experience in strategy, brand creation and development, business development, strategic partnership building, and creative campaigns enables her to engage with brands and consumers in new ways. As a leader in the digital revolution that fundamentally altered the way we experience media, the way we buy,  and the way we create businesses, she understands new paradigms and how to lead businesses into the third decade of the 21st century.

Elizabeth began her professional career as a music industry marketing and A&R executive. She left Sony Music in 1999 to join the fledgling Napster, Inc., as Vice President, Marketing.

Elizabeth managed all aspects of the Napster brand from under one million to over seventy million registered users – at the time, the fastest-growing brand on the Internet. She created the Napster branding and ran the very successful media strategy for one of the most publicized technology businesses in history. Elizabeth executed all of Napster’s strategic partnerships and co-led the road show that secured Napster’s major financing.

After the closure of Napster, Elizabeth held positions at BMG Music Publishing (Vice President, Creative), at Buy.com (Senior Vice President, Business Development), growing her understanding of asset maximization, retail, ecommerce, and merchandising, and at GoTV (Executive Vice President), a pioneer in the mobile video space.

Elizabeth recognized the potential of visual technologies to reshape cinema, gaming, consumer electronics, and more, and in 2008 joined 3D experience provider RealD as Chief Marketing Officer. RealD executed a successful IPO in 2010.

Post-RealD, Elizabeth worked with consulting clients including Electronic Arts and EMI Music (where she functioned as head of digital marketing).
Elizabeth then joined Live Nation Entertainment as Senior Vice President, Content and Marketing. Much of Elizabeth’s  Live Nation work was focused on content strategy, emerging platforms, immersive and experiential design, interactive strategy, and practical business modeling.

Elizabeth invested in and rebranded New Orleans-based big data company Lucid in 2015 (read about it here), and joined Lucid’s lead investor, Sopris Capital, as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive in Residence. Lucid has grown from 40 employees at the time of the rebrand to 400, and from a $30M valuation to over $750M.

Elizabeth most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for BSE Global, overseeing all marketing efforts for the Brooklyn Nets NBA team, Barclays Center, the NetsGC esports team, Nassau Coliseum, the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn Boxing, and BSE’s other owned and operated brands.

Elizabeth sits on multiple boards and contributes pro-bono work to several non-profits; loves to dive, swim, hike, and climb; and is an exhibited and published documentary and fine art photographer. She lives in New York City with her family.
